Tie Dye, Dip Dye, Any Dye
I think first off I should give credit to those models and those in general who have the sheer bravery to not only work this trend effortlessly, but to go that extra mile and create a bit of personality on that head of hair they have. It seems to me that any kind of dyeing that involves vibrant and dynamic colours is praised.

Tie dye is something that we immediately associate with the 60's hippy trends, radiant spirals and peace signs was all that was in sight. However.. do not be fooled. These trends actually orignated from Western China, South East Asia and Central America, this then leadint its way to Africa and is also highly associated with African tribes.

These days people are breaking out from just sticking to the tee's, but people are more eager to try out leggings, dresses, shorts and now hair.

And so this just gives me a qualified excuse to put that purple dye that's been sat at the back of my drawer for far too long, too good use.

3 tips to fine tie-dying:
-Wash the piece of clothing beforehand.
-Form a pattern by folding/screwing or doing pretty much whatever with it and tie with elastic bands tightly.
-With boiling hot water and dye already mixed and stirred in a bowl, soak the piece of clothing for hours, the longer you leave it the more intense the colours get.

So I am off to whack out them unworn white shorts thats been stored away and dip dye them in time for my Oz trip.

  Year of Sheer.
Clearly, the rain has settled in for the day and looks as though it's not going to budge. This has caused me to look ahead to the A/W season ahead of us, and a dreary one it shall be. However, one trend I feel that is going to remain prominentit going to be the oh so sheer look. Teamed up with cosy jumpers or chunky knit tights and cup of tea, this trend is easily adaptable from the crop top and sheer maxi that we're used to. Here are some of my favourite looks so far. Enjoy.
